The scene of the story unfolds in Hawkins, Indiana, 1983. A young boy, Will Byers, goes missing near a government laboratory. As friends, family, and local police search for the answers, they are drawn into an awful mystery. This involves top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces, and one extraordinary little girl.

Stranger Things Season 4: Release Date
The series was premiered on Netflix on July 15, 2016, and the second season followed in October 2017. The third one aired in July 2019.
In September, the official Stranger things Twitter account released the first teaser video confirming the fourth season.

Also, before the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic internationally, Stranger Things had started filming. Netflix confirmed this news. Season 3 took 15 months for completion. Its shooting began in April 2018 and ended in July 2019. Considering that fact, we can expect Stranger Things Season 4 to air by July 2024.
But due to the currently prevailing lockdown conditions, the season might face further delays in the release.

What is the plot?
While leaving Hawkins, we saw Joyce and her son, Will, and Jonathan, along with Eleven, packing up their home into a removal van. They were ready to move away. This signifies that Season 4 might see the gang separated, and the show will probably move away from Hawkins.
The biggest mystery in Hawkins surrounds Jim Hopper’s status.

It has been formally revealed that Hopper, who allegedly died at the end of season 3, is alive! This fact can be witnessed in the new trailer in which Hopper is caught working in the area of Kamchatka, with a cut head.
Admittedly, there was no doubt that the “American” will be back, but Eleven and gang are unaware of this! The level of shock that they will get on discovering the return of Hopper is yet to be seen. Besides, we will also witness the way they deal with this inevitable situation.
