Season 4 Episode 6 of Rick and Morty (Spoiler Alert!) –
The whole episode takes place on a never-ending train whose passengers tell unrelated stories about Rick starting from battling in an evil fortress or saving Christmas to many more.
They finally find a map of the train, which tells them that the train is essentially an ouroboros on a never-ending circular path, which means the passengers will continue to tell the same stories until and unless they make it to the train’s engine and stop it. Watch the episode to know how they make it to the end.
Episode 6, ‘Never Ending Rocky’ is the first episode that is meta. The episode tells us that the anthology train consists of “linked unrelated narrative fields” that are “uptight” and “overwritten.”
