“With heavy souls, we acknowledge the passing of a life exceptionally worthy of celebration: Clark Tinsley Middleton. At the age of 63 – beloved actor, writer, director, teacher, hero, husband, beacon, friend,” Clark’s wife- Elissa wrote. “Clark transitioned on October 4th as an effect of West Nile Virus, for which there is no known remedy. Clark was a wonderful soul who spent an endurance defying limits. And advocating for people with incapacities.”

Clark Middleton emerged in recurring roles on “Law & Order,” “Twin Peaks.” And most recently, “The Blacklist,” where he performed the gloomy DMV boss Glen Carter. On the 2017 Showtime restoration of David Lynch’s “Twin Peaks,” he played Charlie. And the drowsy husband of Audrey (Sherilyn Fenn). He told Indiewire in 2017. He didn’t even have to audition for the character. “I thought I would appreciate being in that world. It was the description of the world I thought I could fit in as a performer.”
He was an expert at whatever he did!
Everywhere his career, Clark Middleton worked with notable directors, including Quentin Tarantino. He also composed and directed original work for both the screen and stage, where he got his start.
Middleton began working as an actor in New York in 1983. And making his theatrical debut in three plays with a tardy Emmy award-winning actor. And Broadway star Geraldine Page. With his appearance on Broadway, he described Hugo in the Tony-nominated.
