Recently, Erin mentioned how she feels satisfied with The Boys, who help spread women’s word in the series. She further revealed as to how much she loves playing as Anne, aka Starlight. Erin mentions that she finds the show and her character attractive, as how conflicting this show is concerning the perfect superheroes we imagine. This drama does not have that “standard portrayal of Superheroes.”
Erin Moriarty said, “I think we don’t fit into the superhero world. I think we intentionally break that box, and I think we try to make the statement that empowerment doesn’t sound equal flawless.”
Other than The Boys, she respects the female superheroes from the Marvel and DC Universe. The reason involves that the females are equally strong and potential here as the male heroes. The equality in forces makes her feel great.
Moreover, Moriarty mentions how the little mistakes and immoral ways show how human the superheroes are through the series. She further notes, “Empowerment equals flaws, mistakes made, all of which strengthen ourselves as women, as opposed to defeating us.”

During the comic-con, the representatives revealed that the shoot might kick-off in early 2024. And if does so, we can expect Season 3 by the end of 2024 or early 2024.
