What is the Hype all about?

The American Superhero show, based on the like-named comic book by Garth Ennis and Darick Robson, has been a success in terms of Entertainment and Quality. With a rare yet easy on the eye season one with Action, Drama, and Dark Comedy all in a perfect blend.

So often have the audience seen an upright and model hero, who uses his powers for good to help the needy and save the day. The Boys, however, definitely does not contain that cliched and straight-forward plot.

This ensemble of Vigilantes are not white or black in terms of morals. We see the group of faulty yet potent characters that are being adventurous for a reason—following this, how is fun and exhilarating due to the uncertainty and possible absence of a moral compass.

Essentially the plot follows a tale of The Boys trying to uncover the uncomfortable truths about Vought and Seven. These two happen to be the evil corporations that hide the bloody tracks left by some in power.

Adaptation of the comic into a web series is always a challenge, and Eric Kripke has passed this transition with flying colors. The cast of the series includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Anthony Starr, Erin Moriarty in leading roles as well as a brilliant ensemble cast all around the plot.

Garth Ennis has often expressed himself to be a backer of change that is needed in the way superheroes are portrayed.

The Boys carries unlimited potential of resonance with urban audiences. Quality releases like these will also pull huge numbers for Amazon. With Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg involved in the production, this franchise looks set to the stars.

In the upcoming weeks, online streaming services are, without a doubt, trying to make the most of the time, people are spending indoors.
