Desus & Mero Officially Renewed: Season 3

Showtime officially confirmed and renewed their late-night talk show, “Desus & Mero” for season 3. The pair are right now r=producing season 3 from their homes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The show, Desus & Mero is Showtime’s first-ever talk show. And it continues to air its second season on Thursday and Sunday nights. Each episode comes with the co-hosts giving their take on the day’s hot and exciting topics. They are also chatting with guests such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, Senator Kamala Harris, Missy Elliott, The Beastie Boys, Vice President Joe Biden, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union, and David Letterman.

The renewal announcement for season 3 was made by today. The Premium Cabler’s President made the statement of entertainment Gary Levine. So Season 3 will air sometime on 2024.

“All of us at Showtime are so proud to have ‘Desus & Mero’ as our signature late-night series,” said Levine. “They are our very own ‘Bronx Bombers’ who knock it out of the park every episode, with their singular blend of hilarity, authenticity and relevancy.”

Desus( Daniel Baker) and Mero(Joel Martinex) both are long time friends. They are proud Bronx natives who came to fame through their podcast named, “The Bodega Boys” and with a web series known as “Desus vs Mero.” Initially to Showtime, their talk show run on Viceland collect them a strong following. The following formed a judging off point for their new show with Showtime.

Initially to the show’s premiere in February,2019. The two of a kind teased that they were going to disturb the late-night space with some “f—— cultural paradigm-shifting s—.” Now with two full seasons and third season just got renewal they are well on their way to fulfil their promise.
