Black Widow fans have been waiting for a stand-alone movie of the character for a long time now. Finally, after all these years, the wish has been granted. Here’s all you need to know about the movie.

The character of Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, was given a final farewell in the movie Avengers: Endgame. But, our beloved Natasha Romanoff will be seen in all her glory again. Black Widow movie will be a part of Marvel’s highly awaited Phase 4.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Disney had to postpone many films, including Black Widow. As per the latest announcement, the movie will release on November 6, 2024.

Earlier, it was supposed to premiere on May 1. But, as the main theatre chains were closed in March indefinitely, the release was delayed.

The team has been tight-lipped about any detail, which is usual for any new Marvel movie. But, the trailer and some promotional footage have given us hints. The movie surely seems larger than life and interesting. Have a look at the final Black Widow trailer below.


Black Widow Plot

From all the teasers, trailers, and promo clips, we can make some guesses about the possible plot of the movie.

The movie is going to be full of action scenes. Also, Natasha’s main objective has been revealed in the trailer. Her main objective will be to confront the darker pasts of her ledger at the time when a dangerous past conspiracy will arise.

Furthermore, she’ll have to deal with her past as a spy and her relationships that broke before she became an Avenger. The final trailer suggests that those “relationships” actually refer to her family.

The new-look

As per a picture posted by Marvel, Natasha will be seen in a new white suit. The design and concept art looks fresh and fabulous.

All the other pictures and designs that have surfaced look very interesting. So, we can expect Black Widow to come out better than ever in the upcoming movie!



The Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson, will be seen again in character for the eighth time. No one can pull off the role better than Johnson!

In addition, Florence Pugh will be seen playing Yelena Belova, Natasha’s fellow alumnus, from Red Room. Pugh was highly appreciated for her role in Lady Macbeth.

Moreover, David Harbour, who was last seen as Chief Hopper in Stranger Things, will appear as Red Guardian. Rachel Weisz will play Melina Vostokoff (the Iron Maiden).
