Former President of India and veteran Congress politician Pranab Mukherjee passes away. His son Abhijit Mukherjee conveyed this news through Twitter.

Pranab Mukherjee’s health has already worsened after a lung infection, a hospital in Delhi said today. The former President has been in a coma since a brain surgery earlier this month.
Many Politicians and different Party leaders tweeted and expressed their grief on this sad news.

A few hours ago, a report read, Pranab Mukherjee is in “septic shock due to lung infection”, the Army’s Research and Referral Hospital said on Monday. Mukherjee is being treated by a team of experts after his health worsened yesterday.
