Irrfan Khan – an Indian film actor known for his outstanding work and dedication not only in Indian cinema but also in British films and Hollywood. The Indian National Award-winning actor and cancer warrior died in Mumbai after battling a medical complication.

Since the past few days, he was hospitalised in Mumbai until the shocking news of his death came out. He was admitted to the ICU of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital in Mumbai. Irrfan was suffering from a colon infection as per the reports.
The actor, Irrfan Khan was reportedly diagnosed with a severe neuroendocrine tumour some time back. He spent most of 2018 and 2019 battling this high-grade tumour in London.
It has not been long since Irrfan Khan’s mother, Saeeda Begum, passed away in Jaipur on April 25, and due to the lockdown circumstances, he was unable to attend her last rites.

The news of the star’s death was also confirmed by the well-known director and a close friend of his, Shoojit Sircar.

The Indian National School of Drama graduate last represented himself in Angrezi Medium; a Homi Adjania directed film.
