Legacies is an American supernatural fantasy drama television series created by Julie Plec. The series was dropped on The CW on October 25, 2018. it is a spinoff of The Originals, which was also a spinoff of The Vampire Diaries. After witnessing the overwhelming support from the fans. The Legacies follows the story of Hope Mikaelson, the child of an original vampire father, Klaus Mikaelson, and a hybrid mother, Hayley Marshall. Their gifts were onto her, which makes her a tribrid, a witch, a werewolf, and a vampire. She is pursuing her education at Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. The school helps the supernatural being to control their abilities, powers, and emotion.

Well, good news for fans is that they could see more of tribrid teen problems. However, like all other projects, The Legacies is also facing a delay as all the projects were suspended in March this year due to unforeseen reasons. It is hard to expect the teen drama being released before Christmas. There is also no surprise to expect the release date being possibly be pushed to 2024.
