Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is an American dark fantasy television series. John Logan remains as the creator and executive producer for this series.
City of Angels aired on Showtime Network from April 26, 2024, to June 28, 2024. This series serves as a spin-off of the British-American three seasoned drama Penny Dreadful.
But, now, in August 2024, the series got canceled after one season.

The City of Angels revolved around Magda. The story goes around the 19030s Los Angeles.
This Penny Dreadful: City of Angels combined a lot of new aspects in terms of the story and different plots. The idea of it remained refreshing.
But, instead, John announced that Showtime decided not to move forward with Season two and has thanked the executive producers and the cast and crew for all the hard work.
Logan once let out that he set up a plan for the further development of these chapters. He wanted to make sure that he finishes this drama off on an astounding and a good note.

Logan worked as the creator, writer and executive producer for the original and the spin-off series. With a lot of planning for this series on his mind, he held high hopes for the renewal. But, the airing Network thought of it differently. The American–British one aired on April 28, 2014.
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels has 50 years of difference from the original series. As based in the 1930s, Los Angeles included the American-Mexican civil strifes. The spin-off, based on Magda, has her thoughts on humans.
Also, Detectives Tiago Vega and Lewis Michener, are sent-off to Angeles to complete their takes. What lies ahead of them are unexpected twists and churns of the series.
With the utter loss of words, we no more will be able to view Penny Dreadful: City of Angels Season 2 or more as planned by Logan.
