Stargirl is ready to enter the DC Universe streaming agency and also The CW. The series will follow the character created by Geoff Johns and artist Lee Moder in 1999. Also, Johns disclosed that legendary Starman writer James Robinson is part of the author’s room for the series.

The trailer for the show has created significant excitement in the hearts of the audience.
The DC superheroine Stargirl is high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore, who finds a magical staff in her basement and takes up a heroic mantle.

Stargirl will make its way on DC Universe on May 18, 2024, and on The CW on May 19, 2024.

The new episodes will air on DC Universe and will be replicated on The CW at 8 pm every Tuesday. DC Universe members will have the benefits of extended versions of selected episodes, behind-the-scenes footage of crew and cast, and much more.
Stargirl: Who is in the Cast?
The executive producers of the show are Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti, and Sarah Schechter.
Stargirl is an essential story for Johns using all the characters being based on his sister, who died in the 1996 explosion of TWA Flight 800.
Brec Bassinger will perform Courtney Whitmore, the young woman who becomes Stargirl.

What does Johns want to say?
Johns says: “There is not any other character in comic books more specific to me personally than Stargirl, and after looking far and wide, I can state there is no other actor on the planet that embodies her more than Brec Bassinger.”
He also added, “Brec’s warmth, power, humor, and positive energy are core to that Courtney Whitmore is. I’m so thankful she is signed on to the role.”
