At which locations was the filming carried out?
The principal photography for the film kicked off on July 12, 2019, under the title “Rust City.” The locations where the shooting for Ghostbusters: Afterlife took place included Calgary and area around Alberta. Also, location shooting occurred in the surroundings of Crossfield, Beiseker. Furthermore, additional locations around Alberta were included.
All of this lasted till October. On October 18, 2019, Reitman posted a photo on Instagram where he confirmed the wrapping up of the filming after a hard-work of 68 days.
