Queen of the South is based on the La Reina Del Sur, an international bestseller by Arturo Perez-Reverte. The series focusses on Teresa Mendoza, who is forced to run from the Mexican Cartel and seeks refuge in America. We witnessed in the Thursday’s finale that her attempt to solidify a new business deal and take down an enemy is infringed upon by a visitor she didn’t expect.

When will Queen of the South Season 5 Release?
If the production of the series is allowed to be resumed after the COVID-19, then it may be published in March 2021. The series was renewed for the fifth season in March 2020 after the completion of the fourth season in 2019.
The release date of season 5 is still not known. However, we’ll update you as soon as we get any official information regarding this.
From the previous seasons, we have learned that the sequel carries 13 episodes. This year onwards, we can expect a batch of 13 chapters having duration ranging from 30-42 minutes.
