The Babysitter: Killer Queen is the sequel to 2017’s Netflix film “The Babysitter.” Although the times are a bit horrific in real life, There’s not enough horror on-screen.

There’s never a wrong time to release a good horror-comedy. But, with Halloween approaching, there isn’t a better time!

Joseph McGinty Nichol, aka McG, has directed and co-produced this movie. Both the first installment and now the second. The upcoming sequel is going to be a continuation of the first. There will, of course, be a time-lapse, and the story will restart a “a few years later.”

The reception to the first movie was fantastic, especially with the target audience. The franchise isn’t aiming at cinematic brilliance, more like a raunchy fun ride. And it did just that, targeting the younger teens was a great decision and worked wonders.

After three years, Netflix is set to release the second installment.

The Babysitter: Killer Queen is all set to make you scared, with a lot of laughs along the way.

When does The Babysitter: Killer Queen premiere?

The announcement has come, and the date is set. The Babysitter: Killer Queen will come out on September 10th, 2024, on Netflix to make you hide yourself behind a pillow and occasionally laugh.

The cast from the first movie has been resurrected for the second. The young characters Cole and Melanie, are now grown up in their late teens.

It’s still to be seen how the evil cult members will come back from the dead. But surely they’ll do it somehow, and it’s fiction, nobody cares!

Plot of the Franchise:-

[Beware: Spoilers Ahead]

Part one of the movie had a precise and straight forward plot. A kid named Cole, who’s a bit too old to have a babysitter, has the hottest girl ever as his babysitter. The story then devolves into how Cole finds out that, Brie, is part of a satanic cult plotting to kill and sacrifice him.

He then has to try to escape from his house, alone, while being chased by Brie and her partners in crime. The movie ended on a bit of a cliffhanger when the post-credits showed that Brie wasn’t dead yet.

The second installment will probably follow Cole a few years after the night of terror and show how the satanic cult make their return. The story is simple, and that’s part of the charm for a movie like this. You don’t need to put too much focus, grab some popcorn and enjoy the gore and bloodshed, all in a fun way.
