Prom season is kicking off early this year.

Ryan took to social media Sunday to announce the official release date for his upcoming film. The movie is all about adaptation of the Broadway musical, The Prom. The film, which cast “Meryl Streep” and Nicole Kidman, will rock the streamer on December 11.

The executive producer and as well as director declared on Twitter. He mentioned “Let Us take you to “The Prom night “you won’t get this time.” In brief to the heaps of events cancelled by the COVID-19 pandemic(sad).

The movie PROM which opened on Broadway in November of last year has hopes high. Movie centres on four down-and-out theatre actors, Which are played by Streep, Kidman, Andrew Rannells and James Corden — who head to Indiana. The cast also includes the best Kerry Washington, Keegan-Michael Key and Ariana Debose.

EXECUTIVE Producers are Bill Damaschke, Dori Bernstein and Casey Nicholaw. Songwriter Matthew Sklar. And book writers Bob Martin and Chad Beguelin are also on board.

That movie follows a young girl in Indiana, who desires to take her girlfriend to her high school prom. But is banned from doing so due to the conservative nature of her town.

In announcing the project, Ryan said, “The Prom movie is one of the best uplifting, wholehearted broadway ever seen. It’s truly an amazing that celebrates the underdog. And also the show says spectacularly that LGBTQ rights are human rights (fact). I feel such a special connection to it because it sets in Indiana, and that’s where I grew up, too.”

The show nominated for six Tony Awards. It also including best musical, original score, and lead actor and lead actress in a musical.

Production of “The Prom” was temporarily close down in Los Angeles due to the coronavirus pandemic. But once the industry began to reopen soon, the movie was able to finish shooting.
