On Netflix, Anime genre is getting another boost in content availability in October. However, every anime fan will tell you that quantity won’t ever cover for quality especially in the current era. There’s so much source from comics and web-novels that movie & series adaptations can become lazy.

Here’s a comprehensive list of releases scheduled in October, 2020:-

1) Bakugan: Battle Planet – Season 2

In retrospect, this show is a lot more engaging and fun to watch than some other card game animes in past years such as Scan 2 go and Monsuno from Nicktoons. With the full 76 episode set to make way into the Netflix catalogue, anime fans can be looking at high entertainment value. Bakugan: Battle Planet is everything you want in a reboot.

2) Food Wars – Season 2

Shokugeki no Soma aka Food Wars will go on floors with nearly 40 episodes and that, also, in 2 sets on Netflix. However, The theme of the show is following Soma Yukihira enrolling in an elite culinary school to become a professional chef and surpass his father’s culinary legacy.

3. Sword Artwork Online – Season 3

This fantastic show takes place in the near future, i.e. 2022, however, things are very different. The basic plot is about numerous people getting trapped in a new virtual MMORPG and the lone wolf player, Kirito, working to flee. Anime contents like these are adventure-fantasy, however, the creators do a great job at making a name for themselves in a popular genre.

4. Black Butler – Season 4

After 3 blockbuster instalments, Black Bulter returns for a colossal comeback. However, it’s not just a show for many, it’s a staple ever since 2008. Kuroshitsuji, follows the story of a boy who trades his soul to a demon in order to avenge his family’s death and successfully lead their influential toy manufacturing company. However, The demon takes the form of a loyal butler who’s always in black and follows the young masters command.

5. Blood of Zeus – Season 1

Last but not the least in this list, comes Blood of Zeus, a Netflix original anime series. Initially known as “Gods & Heroes,” this show also features Zeus, Hera and Heron as leading characters. However, the USP of the show is it’s high production value as well as unconventional storyline.

STREAMING ON NETFLIX FROM OCTOVER 27th, 2020.

With Netflix originals, you can always expect extra careful handing. In the same vein, the streaming giants are keeping every little detail in the wraps. The trailer is expected to come on the floors soon.
