Psych movie is back to give a burst of deep, hearty laughter. The film was given greenlight on February 14, 2019, soon after which the filming of the movie was initiated. Also, almost all the previous cast members will be part of the movie.

The trailer of the movie was released earlier this month, and it will be premiered on NBC Universal’s brand new streaming service Peacock.
When will it be out?
The movie will be streaming on July 15 2020 onwards, the day when Peacock will be available to the viewers. Steve Franks, the executive producer of the movie earlier, discussed in an interview that he is looking forward to creating five parts of the series. Well, that’s a piece of good news for Psych fans that they will be able to watch their favorite movie’s sequel after every few years.

What can we expect from the sequel?
Psych 2 Lassie Come Home will pick up the story after three years of Shawn, Gus, and Juliet’s life in San Francisco. Shawn and Gus will be seen to tracking down the guy who shot Sam Sloan, Juliet’s SFPD partner. On one side, Juliet will be dealing with some serious issues as a secret organizing is preparing moves to take her down. On the other hand, Shawn is determined to find her grandmother’s stolen ring, which he had stolen from his Dad’s house, and now someone has stolen it from him. While clearing all the mess they have created, the group will be seen to learn and make resolutions for the future.
