Plot of Sadak 2
The film is a continuation to 1991 Sadak, the story of a taxi driver, Ravi (Sanjay Dutt), who falls in love with Pooja (Pooja Bhat), a younger lady compelled into prostitution racket by Maharani (Sadashiv Amrapurkar). The movie showcased their journey and how Ravi manages to rescue Pooja from the racket.
Taking the story forward, the trailer of Sadak two opens with Ravi (Dutt) praying to a photo of Pooja (Pooja Bhatt), who is presumed dead, and this has left the former heart-broken.
The trailer then surprisingly introduces Aryaa (Alia Bhatt), a newcomer to the Sadak plot, as a younger girl, who is planning to avenge the demise of anyone close to her. As Aryaa decides to take a street day out to Mount Kailash, she meets Ravi, the taxi driver. Together, they embark on a trip to Kailash and are joined via Vishal (Aditya Roy Kapur), introduced as Aryaa’s love interest.

Where & When will Sadak 2 release?
Sadak 2 will be released on Disney Hotstar’s OTT platform on the 28th of this month. It is produced by Vishesh Films and is the first collaboration between father Mahesh Bhatt and daughter Alia. Sadak was the seventh-highest grossing movie of the 1990s decade. It is remembered for Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt’s brilliant performances.
