Plague!
Recently The Stand, 2020 miniseries launched their first teaser.
In the teaser:
With the world drowned in the plague, what now remains to know is what happens after this massive plague!
A pregnant young lady, Frannie Goldsmith, survives the plague. All the fate now lies on the hands of Mother Abagail, a 108-year-old. There also remains a fight between the good and the bad. Larry Underwood and the rest of the survivors in the plague team up to help Mother Abagail. They try to take down the mistakes and help bring the humankind at peace once again.
But in The Stand there remains a twist. Randall Flagg tries to build his army. He plans on taking over the whole world. He cannot get position to control everyone unless he destroys Mother Abagail and her cadre.
Stephen King put a lot of brains in every plot. With such precise details and such a huge responsibility, he has portrayed the story in a very amusing manner.
