Riverdale is an American television series of teen dramas along with mysteries based on the characters of Archie Comics. The series first aired in January, 2017. It has 4 seasons till now. It is a popular series.

The series is about a small town named Riverdale where the 4 main characters (Archie Andrews, Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge and Jughead Jones) explore the darkness hidden behind its seemingly perfect image.

The delay in airing the rest of the episodes is caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the pandemic, the production has to be stopped as everything is in lock down currently.

The series is going on a temporary hiatus and will have a brand new launch date for the rest of the series. Unfortunately, the series will only have 19 episodes instead of 22 episodes like the other seasons.

However, before going on hiatus, the mystery behind the supposed murder of Jughead Jones (Played by Cole Sprouse) is been solved.

Possible release date of Season 4 Episode 18

What’s next for Riverdale

Because of the pandemic, Season 4 will only have 19 episodes. The rest of the episodes will be in Season 5 unfortunately.

Fans are hoping that the last two episodes uncover the person who is behind the sinister videotapes that are disrupting the town’s peace.

One of the fan-favorite characters, Toni Topaz (played by Vanessa Morgan) would get a ‘heavy’ episode. Ted said “The pandemic derailed production & there was a heavy Toni episode coming up. We’ll still do it, but you’ll have to now wait for season five instead of season four”.

Fans should know that Season 4 will end in a ‘fun cliffhanger that will make you clamor for season five’, which is confirmed by a writer of Riverdale.

We are to expect more mysteries to come in Season 5 of Riverdale. Stay tuned to us to get all the latest news of Riverdale.
