Plot of the film:
AI Capone, who was the most feared bootlegger of Chicago, is ultimately sent behind bars for tax trickery. After nearly a decade of imprisonment, considering him to no longer be a threat, they release him at the age of 40. Also, he suffered from syphilis.
Still, he is under a federal watch as they think that he might be faking his insanity. Thus, retired Capone remains with his family in Palm Island, Florida. To pay his debts, Capone had to sell many of his precious belongings. However, he acknowledges that he hid $10 million, but unfortunately could not remember where it is. Due to such circumstances, he begins to hallucinate things and also loses control of his motor functions.
Over time, Capone gets visions of guilt for killing the men and carrying out violent acts in the past. Thus, his mental conditions keep on deteriorating. His wife, Mae, tells his bodyguards to keep everyone away from him for his safety.
Eventually, at the age of 48, he dies in January 1947 due to the tormented state of mind.
After his death, the family changes their name. The hidden money never gets discovered.
