Diana Rigg recently depart this earth at the age of 82. She diagnosed with cancer back in March. Enjoying a long and loving career, she joined Game of Thrones during the 3 season as Queen. Diana Rigg portrayal of the Queen of Thorns earned many nominations. She nominated for famous Emmy nominations in 2k13, 2k14, 2k15 and 2k18. Despite this success, she had never got around to seeing her own the series. “Like known The Avengers, Diana wasn’t watching GOT. And had no clue of its influence in the world.” Diana said during an acceptance speech at the Canneseries TV festival in 2019.

Though Diana Rigg never watched the show, Rigg spoke fondly about her time on the show. Her character, whom she believed given the best lines of the entire cast. Diana especially loved Olenna’s death scene in the seventh season. Where, after she admitted to Jaime Lannister her role in Joffrey’s death role. The Queen of Thorns proudly drinks the poison(sad). “Diana does it with full dignity and proud. And proud is not often in final death scenes,” Rigg said.

One of Diana Rigg favourite parts of being on the series was all the travelling. Something Diana still enjoys doing very much. Going to Croatia and Belfast was an adventure for her in the journey. And as she never been to either place(oops). Diana remembered the lively days she spent filming Joffrey’s ill-fated wedding feast in Croatia

In addition to GOT, Diana Rigg’s other famous roles include Bond girl. And then she performed super hit Contessa Teresa di Vincenzo,  On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1969). And the hit Emma Peel in the 1960s series, The Avengers. Rigg made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1988. And a Dame in early 90’s for services to drama.
