The sci-fi western tv series has completed its Season 1: The Maze (2016), Season 2: The Door (2018) and Season 3: The New World (2020). Westworld Season 3 hasn’t yet revealed everything, but it’s improbable to answer all questions in a single season. Here’s all one needs to know about the upcoming season 4.
Season 4 will officially occur
HBO announced on April 22 that a fourth season of Westworld would officially take place. Show directors Lisa Joy, and Jonathan Nolan had previously told ‘Variety’ that they wanted to go for at least another season to complete the storyline(maybe more).
President of HBO programming Casey Bloys said “From the western theme park to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. We can’t wait to see where their inspired vision takes us next.”
Westworld season 4 probably won’t air until 2024
Westworld’s story, sets and visual effects require huge investment. Joy and Nolan said it’s unlikely to have any follow-up earlier than 18 to 20 months after the release of Season 3’s final episode.
The official premiere date of season 4 is not yet official.
The cast of Westworld season 4
There is no official confirmation about the cast of season 4.
We can expect our dearest characters, including Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), Thandie Newton( Maeve Millay) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) to return but there is no official confirmation regarding this.
Westworld season 4 storyline
There has been no official announcement about the plot of season 4.
We still don’t know what is likely to happen with Dolores at the end of Season 3, so it’s unlikely to make false assumptions about season 4 based on that. Season 4 could either continue the same storyline or create a whole new beginning.
