Marvel’s Runaways, or commonly Runaways, is an American web television series. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage have created it on the base of the Marvel Comics superhero team, for Hulu. ABC Signature Studios, Marvel Television, and Fake Empire Productions, have produced it with Schwartz and Savage assisting as the showrunners.
The Central Storyline of the series is, the unity of six teenagers from different backgrounds against their parents (The Pride). Why they did so? Let’s find out.
The first season of Runaways started to premiere from November 21, 2017, to January 9, 2018. Following it, the show got resumed with another 13-episode in the second season. It premiered on December 21, 2018. At last, the time came when producers fixed its previous season as the third season and premiered it on December 13, 2019.
Marvel’s Runaways season 3 Plot:
The series focuses on six teenagers. These teenagers are not ordinary teens but are with different superpowers with different family backgrounds. Season 1 displays the story, where they form a pact against their criminal and vicious parents, the Pride. While in Season 2, the center was their struggle. The process they strive to escape from their evil parents. And plan against them to win. Whereas, Season 3 follows the story of Nico Minoru and the team members’ confrontation with the supervillain MORGAN LE FAY.
The Characters: Marvel’s Runaways
The focusing characters of the series are always those six teens. let’s find out the casts behind those teen warriors.
- Alex Wilder: Rhenzy Feliz is Alex. In the series, he is a nerdy guy with leader’s attitude. So, he appoints himself the leader of the group.
- Nico Minoru: Lyrica Okano plays Nico Minoru’s personality. She gives the vibe of a gothic girl. Additional to it, she is the tsundere of the group.
- Karolina Dean: Virginia Gardner plays the character of Karolina. Karolina is a carefree and lively one of the group.
- Chase Stein: Gregg Sulkin plays the Chase. He is the muscleman. Or simply, you can say he is the heartthrob of the group. But yet, he has a dark secret of his family, which he tries to hide from everyone.
- Gert Yorkes: Ariela Barer plays Gret. Gert is smart, funny, but sometimes reflects rude character.
- Molly Hernandez: Allegra Acosta portrays this character. Molly is a strong female character, like the kind-off muscle of the team.
