Scream 3 : David Arquette Blames Script Problems For Disappointment

The Scream’s Franchise star, David Arquette, says that the constant change of the script while filming made the Scream 3 un-successful.

The character is basis on Dewey Riley in Scream 3, a local sheriff from the local station, in the horror movie series Scream. He last appeared in the 4th installment in the series, which was the most successful in the series, earning $97 million, even with a $40 million budget. Arquette decided to return for 2024, Scream 5.

The story of Scream 3 is on Woodsboro murders, where a new Ghost face killer emerges, targeting the original survivors. It was created by Wes Craven and cast appeared as David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, Patrick Dempsey, Scott Foley, Lance Henriksen. Matt Keeslar, Jenny McCarthy, Emily Mortimer, Parker Posey, Deon Richmond, and Patrick Warburton. The sequel received the worst critics, and is known worst from the franchise. David Arquette stated his opinion on the bad performance of big screens.

Even performing poorly at the cinemas, Scream 3 was able to earn more than double they’ve spent. The sequel’s predecessors were best inline in the horror genre, which got its back, for not being useless. Arquette’s words explain the movie’s performance, why the film’s script was inadequate, poor dialogue delivery, the lack of story liking, and nothing to do with the franchise. He stated, “They were rewriting the whole time. We’d get pages like on the day of shooting. It was just kind of all over the place. It’s interesting, and it’s funny, but it’s a different tone from the rest.”

For the movie’s 5th installment; Most of the principal cast, as David Arquette, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and Melissa Barrera, confirms to appear. While the director, Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett replaces Wes Craven, who has created the new popular movie ‘Ready or not.’

Arquette was generous enough to talk about the poor performance of Scream 3, and not holding back the movie.
