Batman has always been a fan-favorite comic book character. Its popularity is second to none. There are multiple batman movies out there and we absolutely love them. News of a new Batman movie is in the air for some time.

Matt Reeves is the Director of the movie. Robert Pattinson will play the character of Bruce Wayne aka Batman. The Director revealed the first look of the Batmobile in March via Twitter.

Plot of The Batman 2022 (It will be darker than the previous movies) –

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Director Reeves recently said, “It’s very much a point of view-driven, noir Batman tale. It’s told very squarely on his shoulders, and I hope it’s going to be a story that will be thrilling but also emotional. It’s more Batman in his detective mode than we’ve seen in the films. The comics have a history of that. He’s supposed to be the world’s greatest detective, and that’s not necessarily been a part of what the movies have been. I’d love this to be one where when we go on that journey of tracking down the criminals and trying to solve a crime, it’s going to allow his character to have an arc so that he can go through a transformation.”

Andy Serkis (playing the character of Alfred Pennyworth) revealed that the movie will be “darker than previous.” It seems like this movie will be the darkest Batman movie ever. Serkis told LADbible, “It’s very much about the emotional connection between Alfred and Bruce. That’s really at the center of it. And it is a really exquisite script that Matt has written.”

Previously the movie was set to release on June 25, 2022. But due to the worldwide outbreak of the Coronavirus, the production of the movie is at a standstill.

The new release date of the movie is October 1, 2022.
