It’s been over three weeks since the fourth season of Money Heist released on Netflix. No wonder it is still trending on number one spot. Just as the third season, the fourth season was also received well by the fans. The season undoubtedly ended on a cliffhanger note which creates great anticipation for the next season.
What is the plot of Money Heist?
Money Heist follows the story of a criminal mastermind. He goes by “The Professor” with a plan to pull off the biggest heist in recorded history, to print billions of euros in the Royal Mint of Spain. To help him carry out this plan, he recruits eight people with specific abilities and who have nothing to lose. The group of thieves strategize to come up with a way to capture The Professor. As more time elapses, the robbers prepare for a showdown with the police.

What have we seen so far?
In the final scenes of La Casa de Papel, the Professor finds himself in trouble when Alicia Sierra locates his hideout and confronts him. This faceoff has sparked several theories about the various possibilities that could happen in season 5. One of the most brain-storming theory is that Alicia could probably join the Professor’s gang.
The season 4 of Money Heist showed no traces of Tatiana’s whereabouts. Thus, when Alice defies the Professor with a gun in her hand, opinions about Alice being Tatiana herself have been widespread.
After Alicia has risked herself, spending a good part of her life and giving birth to her child in prison, she too has nothing more to lose.
Will Alicia join the band of robbers, or will she limit her mission to bring down the Professor and his companions?
While the final credits of Bella Ciao reveal a clue about Alicia’s character turnaround, another speculation talks about the link that is possible between Alicia, Berlin, and Tatiana.
The Fan Theories!
The fans have not failed to point out the resemblance between Alicia and Berlin’s wife, Tatiana. This theory seems to be more evident than the one that states Alicia to join the Professor’s gang in season 5 possibly.
The possibility of Alicia being Tatiana is more likely as she has often referred to her dead husband as a German and co-incidentally, Germany’s capital happens to be Berlin, and that is the name of Tatiana’s husband!
Alicia has also recalled in the past that her husband dies of a grave illness, and perhaps, Berlin too had Cancer.
Though the roles of Alicia and Tatiana have been portrayed by two different actresses, Najwa Nimri and Diana Gomez, the similarities in the physical appearance seem to prove a point.
Are there any other theories?
Another theory talks about the probability of the Professor’s untimely death. This suggests Alvaro Morte’s exit from the show. Looking at the final scene of season 4, where Alicia puts him on a gunpoint, the theory about his death sounds convincing.
Also, in an interview, Alvaro Monte gave a hint about the character’s exit from the show by saying that ‘the Professor is of no use now’.
